Yohahn Ko
Yohahn Ko is a Korean-American Video Editor & Director crafting emotionally resonant stories across narrative films, commercial campaigns, and branded content. With expertise in both directing and post-production editing, he ensures that every project is shaped with a strong visual and storytelling-driven approach.
His experimental short Submergence - which won the Grand Jury Prize at San Francisco State University - explores themes of loss and memory through a mother’s grief. His latest film, Earboy, currently on the festival circuit, examines the complexities of a Korean-American mother-son relationship.
Beyond narrative filmmaking, Yohahn has worked with brands such as Samsung, Byredo, and the San Francisco Giants, directing and overseeing post-production on high-impact commercial campaigns. His deep understanding of both the creative and technical sides of filmmaking allows him to craft compelling visual stories—whether behind the camera or in the editing room.
Currently, Yohahn is seeking opportunities as a remote Video Editor, bringing his cinematic storytelling expertise into post-production for brands, musicians, and digital media companies.
